Theatre Research in Canada/Recherches théâtrales au Canada (TRIC/RTAC) is Canada’s only peer-reviewed journal with an explicit focus on Canadian and québécois theatre in both official languages and provides a necessary forum for the dissemination of scholarly research that uses the full range of critical approaches applied to the study of theatre as a multidisciplinary art. In this issue launch, Kim Solga, Editor, will introduce the authors and articles that contribute to issue 42.1 (spring 2021), including provocative pieces investigating of-the-moment new performance work, such as Green New Theatre, ecology, and disability arts, as well as articles that take the reader back in time to offer important feminist revisions to the theatre/history record. The issue also features three splendid interviews, two of which centre on brand new Indigenous work. Join us to celebrate the launch of this issue and the excellent scholarship in it as well as to meet the new editorial team of the journal. The new team will share their exciting new vision for the journal.
